How a lab test at indyvit works
At home, no appointment, no waiting room.
Order & activate your test
The test kit arrives by post. You activate it with the QR code and answer a few questions about yourself.
Take your sample at home
Blood from your upper arm, saliva, urine or stool – with step-by-step instructions, done in a few minutes.
Send it in
Put the sample in the return packaging and send it off. It's analysed in a certified Swiss lab.
Results + formula recommendation
After around 10 working days, your results are in your account. Along with a formula recommendation you can order directly.
FAQ
What many people want to know before their first test
Do I need to see a doctor for the tests?
No. You take all samples at home – blood from your upper arm with a certified device, saliva, urine or stool with the kit provided. Analysis is done in the lab.
Does the blood test hurt?
Barely. The TAP II device is placed on your upper arm and takes a small blood sample in around 3 minutes – no needle in your fingertip.
How long does it take to get the results?
Around 10 working days after your sample arrives at the lab (urine test: around 7). We'll email you as soon as your results are in your account.
Who analyses my sample?
Certified Swiss partner labs. We prepare the results for you in an easy-to-understand way – with the measured value, target range and a chart for each parameter.
What happens after the results?
Our team of experts derives a formula recommendation from your values. Whether you order it is up to you – the recommendation is included in the test price.
Can I give a test as a gift?
Yes. The kit is assigned, when activated, to the person taking the test.
