Coenzyme Q10

Coenzyme Q10

  • Coenzyme Q10 (ubiquinone) is a fat-soluble substance.
  • Our Q10 is obtained from fermentation and is 100% vegan.
  • The human body can produce Q10 itself.
  • With increasing age, the body produces less and less Q10.

What is Coenzyme Q10 and why does the body need Coenzyme Q10

Coenzyme Q10 is part of the cell, more precisely the mitochondria - the energy powerhouses of our cells. This description already indicates an important function of coenzyme Q10.

Coenzyme Q10 is best known from anti-wrinkle creams. But coenzyme Q10 has other properties too.

Coenzyme Q10 is a vitamin-like substance that your body can produce itself. However, this natural ability can be impaired or reduced by various factors. This happens automatically as you get older, for example. It is assumed that the concentration in body tissue continues to decrease from the age of 20.

Coenzyme Q10 was first discovered in 1957 by researchers at the University of Wisconsin.

In your body, coenzyme Q10 is found both as ubiquinol and as ubiquinone. Both are active forms of coenzyme Q10. We use unbiquinone for indyvit. It is obtained through fermentation and is therefore 100% free of animal raw materials. Our Q10 is therefore vegan.

Can I meet my daily needs through food?

Coenzyme Q10 can be found in various foods, but usually only in small quantities. Good sources of coenzyme Q10 include:

Nuts and seeds (and their oils)
Onion
baby spinach
corn
sardines
mackerel
soybean
broccoli
avocado
Since coenzyme Q10 is a very sensitive substance, the food should be protected from strong light. To achieve the greatest possible effect, you should prepare the food gently or eat it raw if possible.

FAQ

How many capsules do I get?

Your Indyvit contains 290 capsules, which we produce in our laboratory just for you, after we receive your order.

Can I save my mix or reorder it?

Sure! Your orders are saved in your user account. This way you always have an overview and can reorder. Of course you can also adjust a new order.

How and when should I take my indyvit?

Ideally, you should take your Indyvit with a meal, together with a glass of water. Instead of a meal, you can also have a glass of milk or orange juice or something similar. Taking it with a meal makes sense, as this way the ingredients can be better absorbed by your body.

If you configure a mix with several capsules per day, it is recommended that you distribute them throughout the day.

If you don't want to swallow capsules, you can also open the capsules and mix them with a non-hot food.
